Rüdersdorf has voted. In this year's mayoral election, 13011 Rüdersdorf residents were invited to vote. 5921 citizens cast a valid vote and re-elected the current mayor and CDU candidate, André Schaller, with an absolute majority in the first round of voting. The election committee confirmed the final election result on 12 September 2011 at 5.05 pm and announced the following distribution of votes:
