By coding your bike, you can prevent the theft of your property or at least make it more difficult.
On Monday 18 October 2010 from 14:00, you can have your bike coded by the police free of charge. The event was organised by Dr. Rita Nachtigall, member of the district council, and is being held jointly by the Notausgang youth centre and the Bürgerzentrum Brücke community centre. It will take place in the bicycle workshop of the Notausgang youth centre (Am Landhof 1, 15562 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin, Tel.: 033638/29751).
Please note that you must issue a coding order for this. Children and young people need a coding order signed by their parents. Coding orders are now available at the Notausgang youth centre and the Bürgerzentrum Brücke (Brückenstr. 93, 15562 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin). Please be sure to bring your identity card and proof of the bicycle's origin with you.
