A small pilot project was launched in Rüdersdorf last year. The idea of installing mobile toilets at certain locations in Rüdersdorf had been around for some time. The response was consistently positive, so we decided to set them up again.
Since last week, EcoToilets(www.ecotoiletten.de) have once again been installed at various locations in the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin. The EcoToilets will be available at the bathing areas and sunbathing lawns until the end of the season (October). They are cleaned weekly and still promise to be odour-free.
