Samples taken by the public health department revealed a visibility depth of less than one metre in the "Kleiner Stienitzsee". The poor depth of visibility is primarily a traffic safety issue. This means that rescue operations can be made more difficult or even impossible. For this reason, swimming is currently not recommended. This has nothing to do with other health-related factors. The Lower Water Authority samples the water quality once a month.
