Press release 47/2022 of the district of Märkisch-Oderland dated 8 December 2022
With the timetable change on 11 December 2022, there will also be changes for passengers in Märkisch-Oderland:
Neuenhagen bei Berlin will now also be accessible by bus from the south. The extension of bus route 420 Erkner-Schöneiche to Neuenhagen S-Bahn station is an important measure in the district's local transport plan. The buses will run every hour from 05:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Friday, thus achieving the PlusBus standard. There will also be a two-hourly service at weekends.
Line 950 Strausberg-Erkner will also run as a PlusBus from next weekend. With the completion of several years of construction work in Hennickendorf and Altrüdersdorf, there is now a stable timetable without feeder and replacement services. The different departure times on weekdays and weekends have been adjusted. In addition to the obligatory hourly frequency of the PlusBus, the service will continue to run every half hour during rush hour.
However, this year's timetable change is also an opportunity to take account of changes in travelling habits.
Individual journeys on routes 927 (Reichenow-Strausberg), 931 (Altlandsberg-Strausberg), 955 (Strausberg-Müncheberg-Seelow), 957 (Seelow-Neutrebbin) and 966 (Strausberg-Neuhardenberg-Seelow) will be cancelled due to low demand, and there will be an additional service on route 966 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (please note the adjusted times). On routes R 931 (Altlandsberg-Strausberg) and R 933 (Altlandsberg-Petershagen), individual call bus journeys will be offered as regular scheduled journeys in future without advance booking due to high demand. And on lines 946 and 947 (Stadtbus Strausberg) there will be timetable adjustments which will lead to slightly different departure times. Please inform yourself.
