From 5 December 2011 until the end of the year, all households in the district of Märkisch-Oderland will receive the waste calendar for 2012. The waste calendar contains important information on the avoidance, sorting and disposal of waste from private households and the dates for the disposal of household waste, waste paper, recyclable materials (yellow bags), green waste and Christmas trees. The dates for the mobile collection of hazardous waste, the points of sale for the purchase of refuse sacks, leaf sacks and banderoles, the issuing points for the yellow sacks as well as the bulky waste cards and the waste stickers for labelling the disposal dates can also be found in the middle section of the waste calendar.
If you have not received the waste calendar by 23 December 2011, please call the EMO staff on (03346) 88 27 - 0. They will send you the waste calendar immediately. The waste calendar is also available for download on the district's website. As in previous years, the 2012 waste calendar was also designed with photos of our district. 14 photos were selected from the submissions. The EMO would like to thank all those who submitted photos.
