Youth festival in the museum park

Together with the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin, the Museumspark is inviting all teens aged 12 to 18 and their families to the "G.O.A.T." youth festival on 29 June from 11 am. "As a popular excursion destination for the whole family, the Museumspark already offers many events such as traditional and family festivals, concerts, tours and holiday workshops in a unique setting," says Museumspark boss Stephen Ruebsam. "This year, for the first time, there will be a festival just for young people. Under the motto Experience together, the kids can expect a day full of fun, action, music and sport."

From 11 a.m., there will be plenty of workshops organised by and with regional partners to try out sporting and creative activities: Rowing, dancing, graffiti, archery, rap and much more. Kids can chill out with friends, meet new people, discover things they have in common and simply try out something new.

There will also be regional music: musicians and bands such as THE FELLOWS, Lina Marie, de Nexøne, Die Eroberer and PC TOYS will provide a full programme on stage from 11.30 am. The bands can also be visited in the band camp right next door and will be happy to provide information about their musical lives. From 7 pm, the DJ team Fender from Rehfelde will take over the stage and play cool party beats. Admission is free.

The youth festival is sponsored by regional partners and associations and supported by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as part of the federal "Live Democracy!" programme.

Date: Saturday, 29 June 2024, from 11 a.m.
