Hennickendorf Christmas market

On the first weekend of Advent, the traditional Hennickendorf Christmas market will take place on the schoolyard of the primary school on Saturday from 2 to 7 pm. With open school and after-school care, a stage programme and, of course, Christmas flair!

As in the previous year, we are delighted that the pupils and teachers, in conjunction with the parents, are once again working hard to help with the planning. They are baking, painting, crafting, decorating... so that our market stalls or even the stalls we set up ourselves are fully stocked. The proceeds go directly to the class fund.
On 30 November 2024, the Saturday before the 1st Advent, the Christmas market will open in the schoolyard in Hennickendorf at 2 pm. Talents can present themselves on the "open stage", sing, dance, play an instrument or blow on the comb. The main thing is that it's Christmassy.

The professionals will sing at 4 pm. The Hennickendorf folk choir will perform a small excerpt from the Christmas programme. They will present the full programme at the Christmas concert on 7 December in the MultiKultiZentrum and in the school auditorium.

At 3 pm, we can look forward to the little artists from the Sonnenschein daycare centre. They will also perform a short programme and melt the hearts of parents and grandparents.

While Father Christmas uses the whole day to collect the wish lists and is happy to pose for a photo, there is a colourful hustle and bustle at the many beautiful stalls in the schoolyard. From ceramics to knitwear, from candy floss to bratwurst and, of course, delicious mulled wine. There are many beautifully decorated stalls throughout the courtyard, inviting visitors to linger and shop.

Crafts can be made in the after-school care centre and the school is also open for guided tours.
